The knockoff kings on eBay and iOffer are already selling what they call Barcelona 2008-09 jerseys. The real stuff is supposed to be launched on July 1, 2008. We’ll see if the knockoffs look like the real thing then. Here are the pictures of the knockoffs that I found.

I suppose once you narrowly miss relegation from La Liga, it’s time for a new football uniform. Or could it be to make money from the army of fans and collectors who just have to have the latest jerseys…hmmmmm. Anyway, this is the best looking Valencia outfit for a few years. Nike’s current bout of simplicity reigns supreme as with the Fulham 2008-09 jersey. Their sponsor, the “Valencia Experience” doesn’t have a bad looking logo either and IMHO, it sounds kind of cool. The away strip is definitely something that I’ll have to pick up eventually.

Newcastle Uninted have announced their new away kits for 2008-09. Their home strip will stay the same as last year. This is the first time I’ve seen them wearing purple. The shirt style follows the Adidas template that many an Adidas sponsored team has been given for 2008-09 e.g. France, Romania, Trinidad and Tobago and a bunch of MLS teams.
