August 27, 2008 – Arsenal has secured a place in the group stages of the Champions League after winning their qualifier last night.

The Gunners had no trouble overcoming Dutch side FC Twente, currently being managed by former England boss Steve McClaren.

Samir Nasri, William Gallas, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner were all on target at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners won 4-0 on the night and 6-0 on aggregate.
