EA Sports FIFA 09 PS3 REAL USER Reviews

FIFA 09 for PS3 has been out in the UK for 2 weeks now. It comes out in the US on October 17th. Given the ups and downs of the FIFA franchise over the years, we usually take a look at reviews from users before dropping cash on a non-returnable game. We’ve found that the best source of such reviews is Amazon UK’s PC and Video Games section. Based on the input of the users, it’s hard to say whether FIFA 09 is a great game or not. Some users love it, some an ambivalent and some hate it.

FIFA 08 was a decent game but still not as good as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2007 (while PES 2008 was a disaster). Some of the users say FIFA 09 is a step up while some say its a rehash. We suppose that our best course of action at this point is to rent the game before spending $59.99 on it.

Take a look at the PS3 user reviews for yourself. Some are clearly biased while others can be quite helpful and entertaining. We’ve sorted them to show the newest reviews first to weed out those that are based on the FIFA 09 demo or  simply pure FIFA 09 love.

FIFA 09 is currently ranked at #10  Amazon UK’s PC and Video Games Best Seller list. The XBox 360 version is at #23. PES 09 for PS3 comes out in the UK this Friday and is at #3.
