Video: Barack Obama Gets a Columbus Crew Soccer Jersey
U.S. President Barack Obama’s soccer jersey collection continues to grow. First he got his own U.S. Nike Obama #44 jersey. Then last week he got a Nike Brazil soccer shirt signed by the FIFA Confederations Cup winning Selecção.
Now today, defending Major League Soccer champions have presented Obama with a 2008/09 “Obama #44″ Adidas Columbus Crew home kit, Columbus crew soccer ball and pennant during the team’s visit to the White House. They were present in Washington today for Obama to honor their 2008 championship run.
There are no reports that defender Gino Padula’s up close photography of Obama has permanently blinded the U.S. president.
Thanks to Rory on the correct identification of the long- haired photographer’s identity.

That’s Gino Padula not Hejduk.
The only reason I’m accepting this, is because he is now president and represents the U.S. as a whole. What he really needs though is a Fire jersey ;)
