Peterborough United Adidas 2009/10 Away Kit
Peterborough United Football Club (nicknamed The Posh) is an English professional football team based in Peterborough. The club was formed in 1934 and played in the old Midland League, which they won six times; eventually being admitted to the Football League in 1960, replacing Gateshead F.C.
On April 25th 2009 the club was promoted to the Coca-Cola Championship, the second tier of English football, for the 2009-10 season. They are manager by Darren Ferguson – the son of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Earlier today, Peterborough United unveiled their 2009/10 away kit. According to their website:
The football club can confirm that the blue home kit and green third kit will stay the same with a brand new away strip being introduced for the 2009-2010 season. General Manager Leigh Porter commented:
‘I am pleased to be able to confirm that the new away strip will contain a blue and white striped shirt in the style of the club shirt worn between 1977-79. The blue and green shirt designs will stay the same as we were keen to honour our commitment to the fans to keep each shirt for two seasons, the black is being replaced.

From what we can tell, these Peterborough United 09/10 kits appear to use an old Adidas template from 2006. The said template was used by Argentina during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
