World Cup regulars Nigeria are still in the running for qualification for the 2010 tournament in South Africa. A win tomorrow at Kenya coupled with a Mozambique win over visiting Tunisia will see the Super Eagles through to their first FIFA World Cup since 2002. A Mozambique and Tunisia draw and a Nigeria win by two or more goals will also see Obafemi Martins and company through to South Africa.

Earlier today, we got our first look at the Nigeria adidas 2009/10 home jersey. This is the shirt that the Super Eagles will wear in South Africa next year should they qualify for the World Cup. They will also wear the new jersey during next January’s African Cup of Nations in Angola.

I dont know what everyone is talking about. I am Nigerian and I love this new 2010 World Cup Jersey Nigeria has. It comes in its classic green and has very nice designs. People must have trouble seeing, this jersey is beautiful. I would love to see the all white away jersey.
