They have won six national league championships with the last one coming in 2005. The club topped the Chilean Primera División during the 2009 regular season but fell short of winning the season title in the final of the playoffs when they were defeated by Universidad de Chile.

Spanish side Sevilla Fútbol Club won’t be wearing their previously launched 2009/10 Joma home, away and third kits in the UEFA Champions League this year. Instead, the ambitious club has launched an entirely new range for their on the field appearances in Europe’s premier club competition.

The Sevilla 09/10 Joma UEFA Champions League range consists of  new home, away and goalkeeper kits that differ somewhat in appearance from those they’ll be wearing in the Spanish La Liga this year. Here’s a look at them from the club’s official kit presentation yesterday.

Of course, we’ve got some video of the event as well.

Sevilla are grouped with FC Unirea Urziceni, VfB Stuttgart, and Ranger FC in the first round of the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League.

Charlton Athletic F.C. Joma 2009/10 Away Kit

Just a few years ago, Charlton Athletic Football Club was an English Premier League regular. However, relegation from the EPL at the end of the 2006/07 season and from the Championship at the end of the 2008/09 season now sees the Addicks in League One for the 2009/10 season.

Yesterday, Charlton Athletic launched their 2009/10 Joma away kit for their first season back in the third tier of English football for some time. According to their website:

The away kit, which features black shorts and black socks with a blue band around the top, is reminiscent of the seahawk and blue denim away kit that the Addicks wore two seasons ago.

Getafe Club de Fútbol S.A.D. is a Spanish soccer club from the south of Madrid. They’ve been campaigning in the Spanish La Liga for the past few seasons. They finished the 2008/09 campaign in 17th position in the league and thus avoided relegation.

Today, Getafe launched their kits for the 2009/10 La Liga season. They’re provided by Spanish sportswear manufacturer Joma.  The club also announced American fast food company Burger King as its primary shirt sponsor. The resulting combination is a colourful set of kits that challenges FC Lorient’s Duarig 09/10 kits for the most creative that we’ve seen thus far this season. Take a look for yourself below.

Dare we say, “Aye Dios Mio! “
