Video: 2010 ChivaGirls Auditions Are Coming Up

The world famous ChivaGirls cheerleaders of Chivas USA are gearing up for the 2010 Major League Soccer season. They’ll be holding auditions for the squad on February 13th, 2010 at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles. Check out the video below for more information on the audition session.

Video: FC Barcelona 1 – Villarreal 1 (Spanish La Liga Highlights)

Spanish La Liga leader FC Barcelona was held to 1-1 draw by a spirited Villarreal side at the Camp Nou earlier today.

Rising star Pedro Rodriguez put Barca ahead in the seventh minute as he pounced on a rebound from a Thierry Henry volley.

However, the Yellow Submarine’s David Fuster equalized in the 51st with a one -time shot from Ruben “Cani” Garcia’s looping cross.

Barcelona still tops La Liga with  with 40 points, three more than Real Madrid. Madrid travels to Osasuna tomorrow and can ascend to the top of the standings on goal difference with a win.

Video: Luca Toni AS Roma Official Presentation and Debut Match

Italian international striker Luca Toni has joined Italian Serie side AS Roma on a six-month loan from the Bundesliga’s FC Bayern Munich.

The 32-year-old striker was presented as an AS Roma player earlier today in Rome. He then featured in the club’s friendly match against Cisco Roma.

Once a fixture in the Bayern Munich frontline, Toni has been used sparingly by the club since the arrival of new coach Louis Van Gaal. In his time at FCB, Toni scored a total of 38 goals and led the club to the Bundesliga and German Cup double in 2008.

Vitória Penalty 2010/11 Home and Away Kits / Camisas

Esporte Clube Vitória, usually called just Vitória, is a Brazilian football team from Salvador in Bahia. The club currently campaigns in the top tier of Brazilian soccer – the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Vitoria finished the recently concluded 2009 Brasileiro in 13th place.

Yesterday, players Arthur Maia and Alan Henrique presented the Vitoria Penalty 2010 home and away kits to the public. The 2010 Vitoria home kit features the team’s traditional black and red stripes while the new home kit is mainly white with a black and red shoulder area.

Video: Uzbek Kid vs. Cristiano Ronaldo in Freestyle

Over the Christmas period, Real Madrid and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo spent a day in Uzbekistan (supposedly for a hefty $860,000 payment) doing little more than gracing the locals with his presence.

During his whirlwind tour of the oil-rich country’s capital city Tashkent, Ronaldo made a stop at FC Bunyodkor to perform some ball tricks in front of some 8,000 soccer fans. However, a local youth stole the show from La Liga’s best known freestyler with some nifty moves of his own. Here’s viral video of the two battling it out.
